Do you offer in-home speech therapy in Arizona?
Yes. We provide in-home speech, language, and feeding therapy across Arizona, including the Phoenix metro area, Prescott Valley, Flagstaff, Maricopa, Casa Grande, and surrounding communities. Our therapists provide services in your home, through telehealth, and in familiar community settings, making it easier to receive support within your everyday routines.
What ages do you work with?
We provide therapy services for children and adults of all ages. While many of the individuals we support are children, we also work with adults who benefit from speech, language, or feeding therapy.
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
In many cases, yes. If you are using insurance or certain programs, a referral from your physician may be required. If you’re unsure whether a referral is needed, we’re happy to answer your questions and help you understand what’s required based on your insurance or program.
What areas do you serve in Arizona?
We provide in-home, telehealth, and community-based services throughout Arizona, including:
- Phoenix and surrounding areas
- Prescott Valley and the Tri-City area
- Flagstaff
Do you accept insurance?
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and accept out-of-network benefits. We also offer private pay options. If you have questions about coverage, reach out to our team and we’ll help you understand your options before getting started.
Do you work with DDD or ESA programs?
Yes. Word Play is a qualified provider with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and an approved provider for ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) students. We can help coordinate services, answer your questions, and guide you through the process of using your benefits.
Will you go to a DTA or ABA?
Yes. We partner with multiple community organizations and are happy to work with you and your preferred setting. Worried you will be left out of the loop? With our state of the art EMR – patient portal you will always have access to the notes so you can stay informed. In addition, you can message your therapist directly through the secure portal with concerns, questions, or successes to ensure every session is purposeful and intentional.
